A Postdoctoral Position at the Laboratory for Atmospheric Dynamics (LAD, http://atmosdyn.yonsei.ac.kr) of Yonsei University, Seoul, South Korea(http://atmos.yonsei.ac.kr) is available from March 2019 for one-year appointment, which is renewable. This position is for the work on the interaction between planetary waves and gravity waves focusing on stratospheric sudden warming (SSW) events, supported by Korea Research Foundation (KRF). Candidate should have a background in one or more of the following areas: planetary wave and gravity wave theory, data analysis using either global reanalysis data or global model data, and large-scale dynamics using a general circulation model.
