Nurimaru APEC House ´©¸®¸¶·çAPECÇϿ콺

At the 2005 Busan APEC conference, a world summit of 21 countries from Asia and the Pacific gathered here. It¡¯s located on the picturesque island of Dongbaekseom, a pine-studded island named for its abundance of camellias. Visitors can appreciate the exquisite scenery of Haeundae and Oryukdo(Islets). ¡®Oryukdo(Islets) : The old name of Oryukdo(Islets) was ¡®yongdae¡¯(the dragon pavilion). According to legend this is where Haeyong (a sea dragon) stayed. Yongdae is the gateway of Busan, through which all ships enter the Port of Busan. The name ¡®Oryukdo¡¯ signifies it¡¯s changing appearance. At low tide you can see 6 islets, but at high tide only 5 are visible. At sunrise they serve up a grand view.

Haedong Younggungsa (Temple) Çص¿¿ë±Ã»ç

The temple is located on a spectacular rocky outcrop just meters from the sea. Haedong Yonggungsa (palace of the dragon) which was built in 1376, was named when the priest Jeongnam had a dream about the Great Goddess Buddha. In the dream, the Buddha wore white robes and rode on the back of a dragon, which was emanating a five-color beam. It is known as a mysterious place where anybody can have their wishes granted through serious prayer.

Dalmagi Hill ´Þ¸ÂÀÌ °í°³

Dalmaji Hill, otherwise called the ridge of Wausan Hill, covers the area from Mipo, east of Haeundae, to the spot leading to Cheongsapo Inlet. It overlooks the entire breadth of the coastal waters, enabling visitors to view both the sunrise and sunset. The perfect combination of the moonlight and the sea on the first day of a full moon creates a spectacular view. The coastal road along the slope is lined with pine trees and Japanese apricots and is a superb drive in April.

Yongdusan Park ¿ëµÎ»ê°ø¿ø

Located in the original heart of Busan, Yongdusan Park got its name from the fact that it looks like a dragon raising its head towards the sea. The Busan Tower has a Sky Deck from which you can appreciate a panoramic view of the city, including the port and Youngdo Island. The night view from here is dream-like.

Dongnae Spas µ¿·¡¿Âõ

Legend says that the spa was discovered by digging into the ground where white deer rested. A colorless and transparent alkaline saline solution, the thernal water of this spa is around 55¡É,and is effective for treating neuralgia, skin diseases, gastroenteric or gastrointestinal disorders, and feminine ailments.

PIFF Square PIFF±¤Àå

This square is the most famous place in Nampo-dong, symbolizing the Busan International Film Festival. Un Memorial Cemetry in Korea ÀçÇÑ UN ±â³ä°ø¿ø

The UNMCK is the only UN memorial cemetery in the world, dedicated to the heroic fallen UN troops from 21 allied nations. In the Korean War, from 25 June 1950 to 27 July 1953, 1,754,400 men and women held the UN flag high in defence of world peace and freedom.

The name is based on a legend which states that a golden-colored fish descended, riding on a colorful cloud, from Brahma-Deva and played in the well. The Temple contains numerous cultural properties and relics such as the Three-story Pagoda and the Main Hall of Daeungjeon. There are many precious things to see. In harmony with the colony of wistaria vines growing wild, the views of and from the temple grounds are superb.

Jangansa (Temple) Àå¾È»ç

Situated amid Bulgwangsan Urban Natural Park, Jangansa Temple was founded by the highest ranking monk Wonhyo. The scenery of the East Sea from here and the taste of the medicinal water from the Cheokpanam Hermitage, an ancient temple built on the right, are superb. You can also appreciate the vast view of the valley below Bulgwangsan Mountain.
