극지연구소는 극지연구 최신 동향 파악과 공유, 네트워킹 및 구체적 공동연구 협의를 위한 기회 제공 등을 목표로 매년 양일간 국제 극지과학 심포지엄을 개최하고 있습니다. 
다가오는 5월에는 쇄빙연구선 아라온 호 건조 10주년을 기념하며, 아라온 호를 활용한 연구성과와 극지연구의 미래 전망을 살펴보고자 하오니 자세한 내용은 아래와 첨부를 참조해주시기 바랍니다.
